The large amount of Aqualen ion-exchange selective fibers contributes to the filter's high sediment retention capacity and allows for the efficient removal of colloidal and dissolved iron. The cartridge contains silver in active ionic form.
Filters particles up to 5 microns in size.

The Aquaphor K3 cartridge is made of block activated carbon using CarbFiber Block technology. The K3 filter performs a pre-filtration of water, removing organic impurities, heavy metals and chlorine. Filters particles up to 5 microns.
