Containing modified chelate groups with ion exchange properties, Aqualen fibers deeply and irreversibly remove heavy metals from water. The cartridge contains silver in active ionic form.
The Aquaphor K2 filter is made of dense block activated carbon using CarbFiber Block technology. The filter has a porosity of 3 microns, removing organic contaminants, as well as active chlorine from the water
The filter contains a high amount of ion-exchange fibers patented by Aquaphor under the name Aqualen. These fibers contain silver in ionic form and contribute to the retention of heavy metals.
