B515 PRO pre-filter cartridge replacement
The outer layer of the cartridge is made on the basis of a new generation sorption material - AQUALEN TM 4 and fine activated coconut carbon. At the pre-filtration stage, particles up to 20 microns are removed from the water. The finer the carbon, the larger its contact surface with the water, which means more thorough filtration and removal of impurities.
The inner layer of the B515 PRO cartridge is another innovative AQUAPHOR solution - a carbon block with AQUALEN TM fiber designed for deep water treatment. This layer removes impurities down to 5 microns and effectively deals with harmful "chemistry" in the form of dissolved impurities found in tap water.
Innovative solutions used in each filter bed extend the efficiency of the B515 PRO cartridge by 50% compared to the B520-13 cartridge. The cartridge capacity is 150,000 liters. The cartridge effectively removes iron particles down to 1 mg/l. Depending on the size of the iron particles in the water, the efficiency of the cartridge may decrease.
