Modified Aqualen fibers distribute the water flow throughout the ultra-dense filter media, allowing for optimal purification.
The Aquaphor B510-07 cartridge is made of block activated carbon using CarbFiber Block technology and contains ion exchange fibers (Aqualen) and silver ions. This cartridge performs deep filtration of a wide range of contaminants: Chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, oil residues but also other toxins and allergens. This cartridge has a filtration grade of 1 micron and dimensions of 2.5″ x 10″ (60mm x 254mm).
The filter contains a high amount of ion-exchange fibers patented by Aquaphor under the name Aqualen. These fibers contain silver in ionic form and contribute to the retention of colloidal or dissolved iron.
This cartridge can also be used in filtration systems manufactured by other manufacturers that use 2.5″ x 10″ cartridges.
