Manufactured using CarbFiber Block technology, this cartridge also retains mechanical impurities with sizes up to 5 microns.
The Aquaphor B505-14 cartridge is made of block activated carbon using CarbFiber Block technology and contains ion-exchange fibers (Aqualen) and silver ions. This cartridge performs deep filtration of a wide range of contaminants: Chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, oil residues, but also other toxins and allergens. This cartridge has a filtration rate of 5 microns and dimensions of 144mm x 165mm. This cartridge can also be used for HOT WATER filtration!
This cartridge supports a high water flow rate which means it does not affect the pressure in the installation. It also has a lifespan of 15000 L.
The filter contains a high amount of ion-exchange fibers patented by Aquaphor under the name Aqualen. These fibers contain silver in ionic form and contribute to the retention of colloidal or dissolved iron.
