- Gross 20" is a housing for mechanical purification of cold water. It can be equipped with anti-scale filters of different types and porosities to protect household appliances from solid particles such as sand, rust and other contaminants. Aquaphor Gross also improves the work of other filters intended for purification of drinking water. The filter housing is made of high-quality food-grade plastic and can withstand high pressure. The filter cartridge is made based on Carbon-block technology from coconut activated carbon, silver and Aqualen. It retains chlorine, heavy metals, phenol, benzene, organic substances and impurities. Health opinion issued by the National Institute of Public Health no. 21 CRSPB/31.10.2012
The Aquaphor B520-12 cartridge is made of block activated carbon using CarbFiber Block technology and contains ion exchange fibers (Aqualen) and silver ions. This cartridge performs deep filtration of a wide range of contaminants: Chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, oil residues but also other toxins and allergens. This cartridge has a filtration rate of 5 microns and dimensions of 4.5″ x 20″.
The filter contains a high amount of ion-exchange fibers patented by Aquaphor under the name Aqualen. These fibers contain silver in ionic form and contribute to the retention of colloidal or dissolved iron.
According to health notice no. 21 CRSPB\31.10.2012, this product can be sold and used in Romania for filtering drinking water, according to the legal provisions in force.
